(Through Video Conferencing) CMP No. 5774 of 2019 Present is an application filed by the respondents seeking a direction to the tenants to pay use and occupation charges @ `25,000/- per month from the date of passing of the order of eviction on 11.2.2016. Various documents have been annexed in support of the said application, including the valuation, so far as rent is concerned, for the said premises. The same is countered by the other side on the ground that what is claimed is far too exorbitant and that is not the market rate.
However, on considering the contentions, I deem it just and appropriate that for the interregnum, in order to balance the requirement of landlord, as well as that the property should fetch the approximate market value of rental, the tenant is hereby directed to deposit a sum of `10,000/- per month from the date of order of eviction till date. The tenant shall continue to pay the amount till the disposal of this petition. The arrears shall be paid to the applicant-respondent within a period of four weeks from today.
