4. Levy rice to conform to specifications.
- The rice required to be sold to the State Government under Clause 3 shall conform to the specifications of rice of fair average quality notified by the State Government for that respective variety of rice and shall not contain refractions beyond rejection limit shown in the Government notification and in case any stock of rice offered for sale does not conform to such specifications, it shall be reconditioned or rectified or otherwise brought in conformity with specifications by the licensed miller or the dealer as the case may be before being so offered.
