Section 39(4)(a) in Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University Act, 1996

(a)Any member of the Syndicate may propose to the Syndicate the draft of a statute or any amendment to, or of repeal of, a statute and the Syndicate, may either accept or reject the draft if it relates to matter not falling within the purview of the Academic Senate.
