Section 2(25)(a) in Gujarat Prohibition Act, 1949

(a)every process whether natural or artificial by which any liquor or intoxicating drug is produced, prepared or blended and also re-distillation and every process for the [rectification, flavouring, or colouring of liquor or intoxicating drug] [These words were substituted for the words 'rectification of liquor' by Bombay 22 of 1960, Section 2(j).] but does not include flavouring, blending or colouring of liquor or intoxicating drug lawfully possessed for private consumption; and
