Section 6(f) in THE ANDHRA PRADESH FISHERIES UNIVERSITY ACT, 2020
(f)to institute courses of study and to hold examinations for, and to confer degrees, diplomas, certificates and other academic distinctions on persons who have pursued a course of study,or carried on research in the University or in an Institution recognized in this behalf by the University, as may be prescribed;
