Section 63 in The Gujarat Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1963
63. Provisions of certain laws not to apply.
- Nothing contained in the Bombay Markets and Fairs Act, 1862 (Bombay IV of 1862), or in any law for the time being in force relating to the establishment, maintenance or regulation of a market shall apply to any market area or affect in any way the powers of a market committee or the rights of a holder of a licence granted under this Act to set up, establish or continue any place for the purchase or sale of any agricultural produce notified under sub-section (1) of Section 6 in such area.
