Section 12(2) in Regulations of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University
(2)The appointing authorities shall have the discretion to sanction advance increments in the following cases if the qualification possessed by them are higher than the minimum qualifications prescribed for the post in which they are employed:-(a)three advance increments to employee possessing doctorate degree in the Faculties of the University; and(b)one to four advance increments to persons in the accounts and administrative branches.
