22. Recovery of possession for occupation.
- Where an order for recovery of possession of any premises is made on the ground specified in clause (g) of sub-section (2) of Section 21, the landlord shall be entitled to obtain possession thereof within a period of one month in the case of residential premises and two months in the case of non-residential premises from the date of passing of eviction order :Provided that in case of premises let by category of landlords specified in the Third Schedule or by their spouse or dependent children (including dependents of pre-deceased personnel in armed forces), the landlord shall be entitled to obtain possession immediately after passing of the eviction order.
