Section 111(1) in The Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966
(1)A Planning Authority shall complete all the, works provided in a final scheme within the period prescribed in the final scheme by the Arbitrator under clause (xvii) of sub-section (3) of section 72:Provided that, in exceptional circumstances on application by the Planning Authority, the State Government may by an order in writing specifying those circumstances grant to the Planning Authority in this behalf further extension of time as it may think fit.
