Section 40(1) in St Xavier's University, Kolkata Act, 2016
(1)Save as otherwise provided in sub-section (3), a nominated member of any authority or body of the University shall hold office for a period as specified for that office from the date of his nomination, as the case may be:Provided that in respect of the first nominations under this Act, the period shall commence from the date of the first meeting of the authority or body held after such nomination.
