25. Meetings of the Senate.
(1)The meetings of the Senate shall be held at least twice a year on the dates to be fixed by the Vice-Chancellor. One of such meetings shall be the annual meeting.(2)The report on the working of the University during the previous year, together with a statement or receipts and expenditure, the financial estimates and the last audit report, shall be presented for consideration of the Senate at the annual meeting of the Senate convened under sub-section (1).(3)The Vice-Chancellor may, whenever he thinks fit, and shall upon a requisition in writing, signed by not less than one third members of the Senate, convene a special meeting of the Senate.
