Section 16(e) in National Medical Commission (Manner of Appointment and Nomination of Members, their Salary, Allowances and Terms and Conditions of Service, and Declaration of Assets, Professional and Commercial Engagements) Rules, 2019
(e)recruit employees on contract basis as per its requirement, not exceeding the present sanctioned strength of the Medical Council of India, until the posts are sanctioned for the Commission and regular recruitment for the said posts takes place.
