Mr.Pa.Kadirvel, Advocate W.P.No.5891 of 2021 This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus (i) to disperse a sum of Rs.30,051/- towards the amount of Earned Leave Surrender, an amount of Rs.92,133/- towards the balance of Leave Liability an amount of Rs.13,842/- towards salary for 7 days from 25.01.2018 to 31.01.2018, a sum of Rs.1,522/- towards Provident Fund deducted from the last salary, a sum of Rs.18,500/- towards ERBS deducted from the salary of the petitioner and a sum of Rs.1,572/- towards the arrears of Dearness Allowance from July, 2017 to September,2017 to the petitioner, with interest at the rate of 6% per annum. (ii) to pay the interest at the rate of 6% per annum for the delayed payment of Gratuity, Provident Fund, Leave Salary and Commutation in view of the judgement made in W.A.(Md) Nos.1278 to 1281 of 2014 dated 31.10.2014 passed by the Division Bench of this Court.

Respondents On representation of counsel for both sides, this case is taken up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. Mr.T.S.Arthanareeswaran, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr.D.Raghu, learned counsel for the respondent are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:
TERMS OF SETTLEMENT Both the parties are present along with their counsels. A Joint Memorandum of Compromise dated 11.12.2021 has been filed by the parties duly signed by them and their respective counsels.
2. In view of the above compromise, the Writ Petition Shall stand disposed of on the terms of the Joint Memorandum of Compromise. The joint memo of compromise shall form part of the order. As per the said Memo, the respondent-Corporation is directed to pay a sum of Rs.1,59,958/- to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
