Section 438 in Punjab Jail Manual, 1996

438. When date of release falls on jail holiday.

- If the date on which any prisoner would be entitled to be released, falls on a jail holiday such prisoner should be released on a day earlier.Provided that if for any reason a civil prisoner is entitled to be released on a jail holiday he shall be released on that day.
