17.Amendment of section 19.
In section 19 of the principal Act,—(a)for sub-section (2), the following sub-sections shall be substituted, namely:—"(2) Any person referred to in sub-section (2) of section 3 who intends to apply for a patent or any other form of intellectual property rights, whether in India or outside India, referred to in sub-section (1) of section 6, may make an application to the National Biodiversity Authority in such form, on payment of such fee, and in such manner, as may be prescribed.
