Section 7(2)(a) in Punjab State Aid to Industries Act, 1935

(a)Subject to the provisions of this Act an appointed member shall hold office for [five] [Substituted for the word 'three' by Punjab Act 6 of 1938, Section 2.] years unless the [State] [Substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] Government otherwise directs, and an elected member shall hold office for [five] [Substituted for the word 'three' by Punjab Act 6 of 1938, Section 2.] years or until such time as he ceases to be a member of the body electing him, whichever is shorter.
