179. Safety net and its use.
- The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that-(a)every safe net is of adequate strength, made of sound material and is suitable for use and conforms to the relevant national standards;(b)the responsible person for maintenance of safety nets and their use ensures safe fixing of such safety nets and provides such safety nets with suitable and sufficient anchorage so that the purposes for which such safety net is intended for use, is served.
