Section 40 in The Bihar Motor Vehicles Rules, 1992
40. Registering Authority.
- The District Transport Officer shall be the Registering Authority:Provided that a Motor Vehicle Inspector may on being authorised by the Registering Authority perform any of the duties of the Registering Authority under the Act and the Rules.
