Section 18(1) in Uttar Pradesh Ownership of Flats Act, 1975
(1)without limiting the rights of any owner of a flat suits and other legal proceedings may be brought by the Manager or Board of Managers, in either case at the discretion of the Board of Managers, on behalf of two or more of the owners of flats as their respective interest may appear, with respect to any cause of action relating to the common areas and facilities or more than one flat.
