Section 14(1) in Haryana Lifts and Escalators Act, 2008
(1)The owner shall, maintain a log book for each lift and escalator and enter therein the details of operation, break-down (other than failure in electrical supply) and accident, if any. These log books may be inspected by the Inspector as and when he so desires.
