247. Power to direct discontinuance of use of buildings as stable, cattle-shed or cow-house.
- If any stable, cattle-shed or cow-house is not constructed or maintained in the manner required by or under this Act, the [executive authority] [These words were substituted for the word 'chairman' by section 17(1) of the Madras District Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 1933 (Madras Act XV of 1933).] may, by notice, direct that the same shall no longer be used as a stable, cattle-shed or cow-house. Every such notice shall state the grounds on which it proceeds.
