(iii)any inam recognised and confirmed under section 2 of the Pudukkottai (Settlement of Inams) Act, 1955 [Tamil Nadu] [Substituted for the word 'Madras' by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws Order, 1969, as amended by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws (Second Amendment) Order, 1969.] Act XXIII of 1955), but not including a new inam estate as defined in clause (9) of section 2 of the Inam Estates Abolition Act and situated in the merged territory of Pudukkottai;
