21. Local limits of jurisdiction of Munsiffs and Subordinate Judges.
(1)The local limits of the jurisdiction of a Subordinate Judge or a Munsiff shall be such as the [Subs. by the Adaptation of Laws (No. 2) Order, 1956, for" Chief Commissioner"] State Government] may, by notification in the Official Gazette, define.(2)When the [Subs. by the Adaptation of Laws (No. 2) Order, 1956, for" Chief Commissioner"] State Government] posts a Subordinate Judge to a district, the local limits of the district shall, in the absence of any directions to the contrary, be the local limits of his jurisdiction.
