Section 6 in Banaras Hindu University Act, 1915

The following shall be the officers of the University, namely:-

(a)The Chancellor,

(b)The Vice-Chancellor,

(c)The Rector,

(d)The Finance Officer,

(e)The Deans of Faculties,

(f)The Registrar,

(g)The Dean of the Student,

(h)The Chief Proctor,

(i)The Librarian,

(j)Such other persons in the service of the University as may be declared by the Statutes to be the officers of the University.]
