Section 41(1) in Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976
(1)No person shall convene, hold or attend any public meeting within any [ward] [Substituted by Act 35 of 1994 w.e.f.1.6.1994.] within [forty-eight hours] [Substituted by Act 9 of 2001 w.e.f 9.1.2001.] before the date of commencement of the poll or on the date or dates on which a poll is taken for an election in that [ward].
