      Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the
circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be
pleased toto issue a Writ of Quo Warranto or any other appropriate Writ,
Order or direction against the respondents particularly the 1st respondent
requiring him to show his authority to hold the office of Sri Venkateswara
Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) as Director-cum-Vice Chancellor as he

is ineligible to be appointed as per the provisions of the Citizenship
(Amendment) Act, 2015 and continuing as such contrary to Sec.17(5) of Sri
Venkateswara University Act, 1995 as illegal, arbitrary and declare the
G.O.Rt.No.453     dt.31-08-2015,    G.O.Rt.No.706      dt.28-11-2015    and
G.O.Rt.No.129 dt.13-04-2016 as illegal, contrary to law and unconstitutional
and consequently direct the respondents 2 to 4 to recover whatever the
amount paid to the 1st respondent towards emoluments etc. while holding the
said post

On perusal of the record, the cause in the present Writ Petition does not survive and no further adjudication is necessary in the present Writ Petition.

Therefore, the Writ Petition becomes infructuous.

Accordingly Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
