Section 12(c) in The Tamil Nadu Animals and Birds in Urban Areas (Control and Regulation) Act, 1997
(c)contravenes any of the provision in clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 19 of the rules made thereunder, shall, on conviction, be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees or with both.
