(1)The State Government may, by notification, entrust the responsibilities to the State Vigilance Bureau, for inquiring into any complaint of corruption, misconduct, lack of integrity or any other kind of malpractice or misdemeanour on the part of any officer or other employee of a Municipality and for taking such suitable legal actions in accordance with law.
