Section 54(2) in The Gujarat Agricultural Universities Act, 2004
(2)The Board may remove any person from membership of any authority or body of the University on the ground that such member has been convicted by a court of law of an offence, which, in the opinion of the Board, involves moral turpitude:Provided that no order for removal of such person shall be made without giving him an opportunity of being heard.
