Section 56 in The West Bengal Primary Education Act, 1973
56. Other staff of the Primary School Council.
(1)Subject to the prescribed conditions and with prior approval of the State Government, a Primary School Council may appoint such officers and other staff as may be considered necessary for carrying out the duties under the Act.(2)The scale of pay and allowances in respect of such officers and other staff and other terms and conditions of their appointment shall be such as may be determined by the State Government from time to time.(3)Subject to the prescribed conditions a Primary School Council may award any punishment including dismissal or removal on the members of its staff other than the Secretary and the [Controller of Finance] [Words substituted for the words 'Finance Officer' by W.B.
