FACTS
Vide RTI dt 23.9.11, appellant had sought information on 9 points relating to selection of Assistant Professor, Business Management.
2. CPIO vide letter dt 25.10.11, provided a point wise response.
3. An appeal was filed on 8.11.11.
4. AA vide order dt 19.12.11, provided a response to query no.4 and 6 and disposed of the appeal.
5. Submissions made by the appellant and public authority were heard. The appellant submitted that information in respect of query no. 6 has not been provided. Shri Nirmal Reang, Asstt Registrar submitted that he had been directed by the then CPIO, Dr K.B.Jamatia, Registrar, not to provide the information.
DECISION 1
6. We direct the CPIO to provide information at serial no.6 to the appellant within one week from date of receipt of the order. Provisions of Section 10 of the RTI Act may be utilized to delete information exempt from disclosure.
The appeal is disposed of.
