81. Responsibility of licensee to ensure compliance with orders of Ombudsman.

- The licensee shall comply with and implement the order of the Ombudsman within the period specified in the order or in the absence of any such time limit, within a period of 30 days. In appropriate cases, considering the nature of the case, the Ombudsman, on the request of the aggrieved person/licensee, can extend the period of compliance of order upto a maximum period of three months. The licensee shall report compliance to Ombudsman within seven days of the day the order of Ombudsman was complied with.Ombudsman will review the compliance of his orders and compliance of orders of Forums every month and shall report non-compliance of his orders and orders of Forums, if any, to the Commission.
