(c)In the event of default by the first successful tenderer or bidder in payment of 25% of the knocked down amount within the immediate next working day by way of demand draft from any Schedule Bank and /or the remaining 75% knocked down amount within the time mentioned in the confirmation order or non-completion of the formalities of executing the agreement the competent authority may issue the confirmation order in favour of the second and subsequent highest tenderer or bidder in descending order.
