Section 18(2)(a) in Orissa Superior Judicial Service and Orissa Judicial Service Rules, 2007

(a)has approved service in the High Court or in any Civil or Criminal Court subordinate to High Court or in the Law Department of not less than seven years on the last date fixed for receipt of application for the said competitive examination;
