(1)A member holding the office as President of the Zill Parishad office may resign at any time by writing and send it to Government through the Deputy Commissioner and the Vice-President of the Zilla Parishad may resign his office at any time by writing and send to the President of the Zilla Parishad and in Absence of the President, to the Government through the Deputy Commissioner and the office shall become vacant on the expiry of fifteen days from the date of such resignation unless within the said period of fifteen days he withdraws such resignation by writing and send it to Government in respect of the President and to the President in respect of the Vice-President, as the case may be
