Section 5A(4)(iv) in Rules under the United Provinces Excise Act, 1910

(iv)The Collector or the officer authorised by him, shall issue permit from the book to the eligible person after realizing requisite permit fee under clause(i). The amount realized as permit fee shall be deposited in the Government Treasury.
