(2)Every flywheel and every other dangerous exposed part of any machinery used as or forming part of the equipment shall be adequately fenced by suitable guards of substantial construction to prevent danger and such guards shall be kept in position while the parts of the machinery are in motion or in use but they may be removed for carrying out any examination, adjustment or repair if adequate precaution is taken.
