Section 513 in The Calcutta Municipal Corporation Act, 1980
513. Stacking or collecting inflammable materials. -
The Municipal Commissioner may, by public notice prohibit in any case where such prohibition appears to him to be necessary for the prevention of danger to life or property the stacking or collecting of wood, dry grass, straw or other inflammable materials or the placing of mats or thatched huts or the lighting of fires in any place which may be specified in the notice.
