Section 2 in The National Commission For Women Act, 1990
2. Definitions .-In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,-
(a)"Commission" means the National Commission for Women constituted under section 3;(b)"Member" means a Member of the Commission and includes the Member-Secretary;(c)"prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act.
