Section 379(2) in The Calcutta Municipal Corporation Act, 1980
(2)If such person fails to reinstate and make good the street as aforesaid, the Municipal Commissioner may restore such street, and the expenses incurred by the Municipal Commissioner in so doing shall be paid by such person.
