Section 28(a) in The Orissa District Planning Committees Rules, 2000
(a)Travelling Allowance :- The Chairperson, the Member-Secretary or any other official performing the functions of the District Planning Committee will be entitled to Travelling allowances and Daily Allowances as per their grade and they will receive their Travelling Allowances and Daily Allowances from their establishments. All other nonofficial members of the Committee either elected, nominated or invited for performing the functions of the District Planning Committee will be entitled to draw Travelling Allowances as admissible to 1st Grade Government servants and Daily Allowances as admissible to Grade-I (iii) Government servants in accordance with the Finance Department Office Memorandum No.27953/F dated 23.6.98 as amended from time to time.
