(6)Where a certificate of registration is lost or destroyed, the holder of the certificate shall forthwith apply to the authority who had issued the certificate, for the issue of a duplicate certificate of registration. Every such application for the issue of a duplicate certificate shall be accompanied by a fee of rupees two.
