Section 2(d) in The Punjab Legislative Assembly (Allowances of Members) Act, 1942
(d)"meeting" means a meeting of the Assembly or of a committee thereof;(dd)["new member" means a member who takes his seat in the Assembly after the commencement of the Punjab Legislative Assembly (Allowances of Members) Second Amendment Act, 1986, and includes a member who is re-elected; ] [Added vide Act No. 20 of 1986.]"
