Section 41(2) in The Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Rules, 1991
(2)All weighments of agricultural produce intended for purchase or sale in the notified area shall be made by the person who is licensed to act as a weigh-man. He should wear the badge containing serial number allotted to him by the market committee.
