Section 29(1) in Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority Building Rules, 2013
(1)All requirement of fire protection through classification of buildings based on occupancy, type of construction and other requirement shall be in accordance with the IS-1642-1960 Code of practice for Safety of Buildings (General); material and details of construction, and other relevant the Bureau of Indian Standard Code or the National Building Code, 2005.
