Section 1 in Assam Tribal Development Authority Act, 1983
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
- (i) This Act may be called the Assam Tribal Development Authority Act, 1983.(ii)It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette appoint.(iii)The Act shall apply to such area or areas as the State GovernMent may by notification in the official Gazette from time to time specify.
