Section 311(1) in Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Rules, 1996
(1)The person using the vehicle shall note in the log-book in his own hand, the meter reading at the start and at the completion of each journey. He shall also indicate whether the journey undertaken was on official duty and if so the purpose of the journey shall be briefly recorded. It shall not be enough merely to state that the journey was official.
