Section 71 in The Medicinal And Toilet Preparations (Excise Duties) Rules, 1955

71. Licensee to enter into a bond.

- The Excise Commissioner shall require the licensee to furnish a bond in Form B-2 with such surety or sufficient security, in such amount and under such conditions, as the Excise Commissioner approves binding the licensee to pay duty on the goods deposited therein and for the due and safe removal of such goods to another warehouse and for the due observance of the terms, conditions and requirements of the Act, these rules and any other rule made hereunder in respect of the same;Provided that on the revocation of any licence by the Excise Commissioner all such goods warehoused therein shall be removed as the Excise Commissioner directs and no abatement of duty or allowance shall be made in respect of any such goods for deficiency of quantity, strength or quality after due notice of such revocation has been given to the licensee:Provided further that in the event of death, insolvency or insufficiency of the surety, the Excise Commissioner may, in his discretion, demand a fresh bond; and may, if the bonded is with security, demand at any time he considers it fit to do so, additional security.
