Section 17 in The Karnataka Border Area Development Authority Act, 2010
17. Obtaining information
The Authority may for the purpose of this Act seek and obtain information relating to implementation of the Border Area Development of Karnataka from any officer of the State Government and such officer shall be bound to furnish the information sought by the Authority.
