Section 62(1) in University of Horticultural Sciences Act, 2009
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes appointment to posts and services in connection with the affairs of the University may be made by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of such authority as may be prescribed:Provided that such approval of the Board shall not be necessary in respect of appointment of posts carrying scales of pay lower than the pay scale of an Assistant Professor under teaching and `A' group of employees under non teaching staff.
